2008 Nominees  - This year we again decided to make the final nominees in each category public before the gala event.  During the deliberations process each panel routinely distilled their decisions to a final few possible candidates, and it was thought that sharing the identities of this group is important for many reasons.  The nominees were notified of their nomination and invited to attend the gala evening and be acknowledged for their work.
